Chrissy Yu is a talented, dedicated and brilliant interior designer. We met Chrissy in February 2022 after having purchased a house in Hampstead that needed a lot of cosmetic work. After interviewing several designers and firms we trusted our instincts and hired Chrissy immediately. From our first meeting she was detailed oriented, listened carefully, shared her opinions thoughtfully and helped us create a home our family loves. She was incredibly responsive from the start, and helped me envision what our house could be. She managed our project from inception to finish, from sourcing contractors to creating beautiful spaces with intention and purpose, to the very last details of accessorizing and personalizing every room. Chrissy dedicated herself to our project, and our family, and we feel so grateful to have met and worked with her. I would highly recommend Chrissy to anyone looking to revamp their home. Chrissy is incredibly personable and truly listened to what I was trying to achieve without imposing her own style on me. I didn’t have huge budgets to work with but that didn’t matter as Chrissy is creative and finds a way to work with you that makes financial sense for both parties. She works very quickly and efficiently to create mood boards and finds solutions to meet budget/room restrictions. I was hugely impressed with what she came up with for revamping our living room and bedrooms. It’s not something I would have come up with myself and she has a great eye for things. Her approachability and kindness (she seems to keep clients in mind when she sees something that would look nice) was great and I felt she really cared about making our space work for us even after the project was completed. I still send her pictures of items I think of buying and highly value her opinion. Hiring an interior designer can be daunting and feel very indulgent but if you find putting different items together time consuming and hard , it’s well worth investing in an interior designer.
